Hernia Repair Surgery
Dr. del Pino prefers to use the Robot for most hernia operations including groin, abdominal and hiatal hernias because it allows him to complete them with little keyholes, less pain and faster recovery times for his patients.
Gallbladder Surgery

Anti-Reflux Surgery.
Dr del Pino is a fellowship trained foregut surgeon. Anti-Reflux, Achalasia and Hiatal Hernia Repair Surgery need to be done by an expert. He is well versed in the interpretation of tests required for the work-up of these patients including Esophageal Mannometry, 24 hour pH studies, Upper GI series and endoscopy. The Da Vinci Robot allows him to be more precise when performing these types of operations.
Colon Surgery
Cancer and diverticulitis are the most common indications for colon operations. The Robot is an excellent tool that minimizes the chance of having to convert little hole surgery to open, thereby minimizing post-operative length of stay and accelerating recovery.
Dialysis Access Surgery
Surgeries include arteriovenous fistula creation, arteriovenous graft insertion, declots, stent placement, fistulograms and angioplasty, perm-Cath removal.
Emergency Surgery
Dr del Pino is a General Surgeon and as such he performs emergency operations like: laparoscopic appendectomy, bowel perforation and obstruction repair, etc.
If you land in the hospital, you can request him as your surgeon. You have the right to choose Dr. del Pino and not be assigned the surgeon on call.
